Brokenness Conceals Potential

Your brokenness – If you find the key it can become the platform that releases your brilliance!

Brokenness is the unwanted design in any person’s life.  It fractures who they are. It creates so many jagged lines and a myriad of separated pieces. Some lines are hair-line whilst others can be deeper in depth. The more numerous the pieces, the more fragmented and the more lost the person becomes. No longer clear of who they are and what they have, outside of their brokenness.

So many of us struggle to get past what we have become.  Unable to realise what we can be through faith on any level.

Shame, low self-worth, doubt, years of repeated failures, loss and never-ending struggles are just some of the things that constantly seek to hold us into our past. They are relentless. They never give up.  Seeking every window of opportunity to speak or shout into your head and your life the obvious, by pulling from your past. It is true those things may have happened, they may well have occurred and yes they may well have been your truth in the past.  But they do not define who you can become.  However, if you allow them to set up shop in your life, in your head, they will destroy what you could possibly become in the future?  Just when you think you are getting somewhere like the proverbial bad penny one or two of these bad memories show up with their friends to destroy any progress.

But, if you can harness your pain and channel it to a positive end? If you can harness your brokenness and channel it to a positive end?….. If you can reframe your story, can you image even in a small way what life would become?

Finding the key that unlocks and releases who you truly are? Now that is the thing, that is the challenge? The power always lies in how a story ends not in its beginning.

The power always lies in how a story ends not in its beginning.

That’s why hope is so powerful because it gives reason and purpose to change. It is always set before you never behind you.

The Greatest Hope

1 Corinthians 2 says

None of the rulers of this age or world perceived and recognised and understood this, for if they had they would never have crucified the Lord of glory. (Amp)

No one recognised what was to be released through the death of Christ because no one understood it.  In seeing what they perceived as his brokenness, they failed to realise how short-sighted and incorrect they were. Certain people felt they had total power and were in full control of the situation. But they failed to see God’s plan being fulfilled.  They failed to see who the real Architect of this plan was.  They failed to see the power that was to come. They failed to see that the greatest gift of redemption was unfolding in their very midst.

They thought they had broken Jesus because they felt they were removing the hope that was being placed in a promised King. But the bible describes all that was to take place as bruises.

Isaiah 42:3 A bruised reed he will not break, a smoldering wick he will not snuff out.

Not one bone in Jesus’ body was broken so that scripture would be fulfilled.

So as much or as great as his ordeal was at Calvary he was never broken by man nor by the enemy. He was a fire that was never extinguished or dampened. He was that smoldering wick even on the cross. Even in the tomb.

Yet through every wound he experienced, through the loss of every drop of blood that was shed, God’s power was being released to cover every situation, emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually.

The enemy always strives against our potential ever being realised or fulfilled, unless it is for his benefit, and for that there is a cost for his interest/desire is not unconditional.

I believe just as our finger prints are unique so are our hurts. Every fractured line tells its own unique story in a life. Therefore, healing has to be unique to each person.  What speaks to me, may not speak to you. What works for me, may not work in the same way for you.

Yet God’s love can cover any hurt or pain. God’s love can unlock the answer to a life and release him or her into who they are meant to be.

God holds every key for a life. Faith believes in what’s unseen and enables you to bring it into a reality.

Brokenness seeks to rob you of hope and your future but the word says.

Jeremiah 29:11  “For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.”

Know that everyone in Christ has a final outcome.  Everyone in Christ has hope. Everyone in Christ has a purpose that can be fulfilled with faith.

The answer for your tomorrow is released in your today. Make the most of the day you are in, in hope for your tomorrow.

Never stop seeking God for the answers to your life.
